10 Branch Held Sport 2018 Asian Games in Palembang

South Sumatra will certainly hold 10 sports (sports) in the event the Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang in 2018.
10 sports have been approved by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) on the sixth joint meeting of South Sumatra Governor Alex Noerdin in Palembang, Sunday, March 5, 2017.
The ten branches of the sport namely, Women Football, Basketball, Tennis, Beach Volleyball, Canoeing, Rowing, Shooting, Triiathlon, Sepak Takraw and Climbing.
Chairman Coorcom OCA, Tsunekatzu Takeda said that so far the entire venue in Palembang has a maximum, so they believe the implementation of the 10 sports at the Asian Games can run optimally.
“Jakabaring Sport City Complex (JSC) has been very ready, because here previously also held several other international sporting events” said Tsunekatzu.
South Sumatra Governor Alex Noerdin added, they will focus on the preparation of the 10 sports that has been agreed to be held in Palembang.
“We are not asking for extra again, this is enough. Previously there were 11 sports that will be contested, but combined with the Soft Tennis Court, so be 10,” he said.
“For additional sports later discussed again at a meeting in Jakarta,” continued Alex.
2018 Asian Games are expected to bring into 44 sports comprising 33 Olympic sports and 11 non-Olympic sports.
